Real Scale Singapore Geylang District 3D Environment · Unity · Client Commission

This environment is a 1:1 digital reconstruction of Geylang Road, Singapore one of the city-state’s most architecturally layered and culturally dense districts, where colonial-era shophouses stand shoulder to shoulder with modern HDB towers.

Some 3D environments are inspired by real places. This one was built to replace the need to be there.

The Geylang District reconstruction captures Singapore’s most texturally rich urban corridor at true 1:1 scale the exact width of Geylang Road, the precise proportions of its colonial shophouse colonnades, the layered signage of Chinese medicine halls and hardware stores, the red terracotta roof tiles that have been baking under the equatorial sun for over a century. Every road marking follows Singapore’s Land Transport Authority specifications. Every tree placement maps to street-view reference.

Built in Unity for a client requiring photorealistic urban accuracy, this environment sets the benchmark for what real-scale city reconstruction looks like inside a real-time engine.
